Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy’s co-founder and executive chairman, predicts Bitcoin (BTC) might reach $150,000 by the end of 2025 due to rising institutional demand and constraining supply after the April 2024 halving.
In an interview with Bloomberg earlier this week, Saylor said that Bitcoin’s fundamentals are “stronger than ever,” citing increased spot Bitcoin ETF inflows and the continuous transfer of money away from conventional assets like Treasuries and gold.
“We’re at the early stages of a decade-long institutional adoption wave,” Saylor told the crowd. “Once large corporations and sovereign entities start allocating even a small percentage of their portfolios to Bitcoin, we’ll see price levels that were once unimaginable.”
Institutional Demand And Post-Halving Dynamics Could Fuel Bitcoin’s Major Rally
Saylor’s prediction adds to the rising optimism about Bitcoin’s long-term prospects, especially following a year highlighted by regulatory clarity and institutional acceptance. His firm, MicroStrategy, is the biggest corporate Bitcoin holder, having bought over 226,000 BTC since 2020, which is worth more than $14 billion at current rates.
Analysts believe Saylor’s statements represent market confidence moving into 2025, particularly as Bitcoin continues to trade in a recovery zone after recent macroeconomic turbulence. Analysts project that the US Federal Reserve’s stance on interest rates and global liquidity conditions will significantly influence short-term market trends.
According to CoinTelegraph, Saylor’s price estimate is consistent with wider views that Bitcoin’s post-halving supply shock and increased institutional exposure will push new all-time highs this year.
Market Watchers Eye Macro Trends And EFT Inflows As Bitcoin Targets New Highs In 2025
While Saylor is optimistic about Bitcoin’s upward trajectory, market analysts warn that volatility will likely endure as investors analyze economic data and central bank policies. Nonetheless, the expanding presence of Bitcoin ETFs, as well as the likelihood of sovereign adoption, is boosting long-term investor confidence.
If Saylor’s projection is correct, Bitcoin would need to more than double from present levels to reach the $150,000 objective by late 2025, cementing its place as a mainstream store of wealth and financial hedge.

For the time being, Bitcoin traders are keeping an eye on critical resistance levels at $110,000, as institutional flows and macroeconomic variables continue to affect the overall cryptocurrency narrative.
